The US Army has the first of a new batch of 51 M9 Armored Combat Earthmovers. The Army originally ordered 434 M9s, and received them by 1992. Then the Marines ordered 87 and the National Guard 34; these were delivered in 1996. The Army then ordered 51 more (the first of which has just now been delivered) and has an option on 51 more.--Stephen V Cole
