Production of the Javelin anti-tank missile for the US Army has temporarily halted due to a problem in integrating the new warhead fuse.--Stephen V Cole

Thailand has selected the ASCOD Light Tank for its Marine Corps. ASCOD is a joint armored vehicle project of Austria and Spain. The Light Tank variant mounts a South African three-man turret fitted with a 105mm rifled cannon (which fires standard NATO ammunition). Thailand expects to buy 15 tanks, plus a recovery vehicle and a command post vehicle. --Stephen V Cole
