Israel has unveiled the third member of its anti-tank triad, the NT-D or "Dandy" anti-tank missile. This is a long-range weapon (6km) designed to be fired from vehicles or helicopters. It weighs 32kg (70 lbs) in its canister; the launcher itself weighs 55kg (121 lbs). Dandy is guided by fiber-optic cable and can be guided by the gunner all the way into the target, or it can be released to seek its own target at any point (even before launch). The NT-G (Gill) has a range of 2.5km; the NT-S (Spike) has a range of 4km using fiber-optic cables.--Stephen V Cole
