Yemen has received its new tank landing ship, the Bilqis, from Poland. This 1,383-ton ship is designed to carry five T-72 tanks and 111 Marines; it is a near-copy of the Polnochny class. It has chaff dispensers, infrared countermeasures, and two twin 23mm gun turrets.--Stephen V Cole
