The first KC-130J tanker built for the Marine Corps has conducted its first
flight and is to be delivered to the Marines late this year. The Marines have eight of these aircraft on order to provide them with a land-based tanker capability that could refuel helicopters or tactical aircraft.--Stephen V Cole
