  Residents of a village on the Panamanian border, who suffered an attack by FARC guerillas last month, have declared themselves part of Panama. The villagers are upset at the Colombian governments failure to protect them. Some 400 villagers have already fled, but the remaining 620 feel they will be safer as Panamanians.
