Foreign Reaction To Attacks On the U.S.

@ Australia has declared that the 11 Sept terrorist attacks against the US have triggered the ANZUS treaty, which treats any attack on Australia, New Zealand, or the US as an attack on all three. Australia has said it will provide logistical support and has authorized Australian SAS troops who are attached to British SAS units to take part in missions in Afghanistan.

@ The Czech Republic said that because of the attacks on the US, it will accelerate forming a chemical defense unit, a mobile hospital, and a field surgical unit.

@ Greece has suspended plans to announce its selection of a new tank and medium transport aircraft until the current crisis is resolved.--Stephen V Cole
