Terrorism, political refugees, border security, and people running militant political movements from Britain have all become a major issue as France makes it easier for illegal migrants to get into Britain. France has turned the huge warehouse at Sangatte that once held construction equipment for the channel tunnel into a refugee camp. The refugees are from Eastern Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, and are trying to make their way to Britain, where aid for refugees and chances of permanent asylum status are the highest. Every day, police catch about 150 refugees trying to enter Britain stowed away on trucks crossing the channel by ferry or train, and return them to France. The French simply returned them to the Sangatte facility where they are free to try again. Last year, Britain allowed 76,000 refugees who
