November 7, 2006: Demonstrators from across Mexico continue to gather at the state university in the city of Oaxaca. The demonstrators are using the university as a base area to conduct marches throughout the city. The Mexican government has said that nine people have been killed in "protest" related incidents in Oaxaca since August 2006. The biggest political news is the PRD's decision to actively support the Oaxaca demonstrators. The Popular People's Assembly of Oaxaca (APPO) is leading the demonstrations.
