 The fighting in the north has begun spreading to the south. Fighting over the last two days has killed hundreds of people, mostly civilians. The government blames the rebellion on Guinea (which accuses Liberia of backing Guinea rebels.) But the rebels are most likely tribal groups opposed to the tribes in power.
