Several thousand Liberians in Guinea Bissau have been told to leave the country, but the government has closed the border and prevented the Liberian government from flying its citizens out. Guinea insists that the Liberians are supporting Guinean rebels. In response, Liberia says it cannot guarantee the safety of Guineans in Liberia if Liberians are not let out of Guinea.
