Bombs went off, several in Medellin (wounding 10) and another in Marinilla (killing one and wounding 25). The ELN is suspected. A truck carrying 15-20 ELN rebels and a large amount of explosives exploded in the northeast, killing all the rebels. Army attacks against ELF forces left 11 rebels and one soldier dead. Some 700 kilometers southwest of the capital, the army has surrounded some 2,000 FARC rebels. The army says the rebels must either surrender or die. Some 6,000 troops have been going after FARC forces in the area. At least two dozen rebels have died so far.
