UNITA claimed its forces killed 128 Angolan government (MPLA) troops and 28 government police in battles that took place from June 5 to June 10. UNITA claimed that the battles occurred in 13 of Angolas 18 provinces. (UNITA mentions the provinces to demonstrate its military strength as well as its ability to operate throughout Angola.) UNITA said it attacked a military school in Benguela on June 8.
