As a test of more mobile firepower, the Swedish Coastal Artillery (part of the Navy) has test-fitted an AMOS twin-barrel 120mm mortar onto a Combat Boat 90H gunboat. If the trials go well, the Swedes may mount several of these weapons on such boats and use them to replace fixed coastal artillery. The AMOS mortar system was designed to be fitted in armored vehicles.--Stephen V Cole
