Troops on peacekeeping duty in Kosovo drive Humvees fitted with GPS location trackers that tell the command post where each patrol is. The next upgrade to the system will provide each vehicle with a computer terminal showing a map of the area the Humvee is in and the location of other nearby patrols.--Stephen V Cole
