Kuwait has ordered twenty-four PLZ45 self-propelled 155mm howitzers from China to form a second artillery battalion. They previously ordered 27 of the same guns to form a training platoon and the first battalion. It is expected that they will order 24 more guns to form the third battalion of a previously-announced plan. --Stephen V Cole
