During a recent exercise, the US Marines assembled 26 towed M198 155mm howitzers from three battalions of the 11th Marine (Artillery) Regiment at Camp Pendleton. This was the largest concentration of artillery at Camp Pendleton since 1982. The exercise is to become an annual event.--Stephen V Cole
