Russia's MiG-MAPO organization plans to offer a new development of the MiG-29. The new design will be "almost a new aircraft" with new weapons and electronics. Its new Phazotron NIIR Zhuk radar can detect aerial targets at 245km, track 10 targets simultaneously, and guide missiles to four of those targets at the same time. --Stephen V Cole
