A PBY-6A Catalina drops a load of water from its bomb-bay doors over Crescent Harbor. The aircraft's departure marked the end of a weeklong visit to Naval Air Station Whidbey Island and Oak Harbor. The visit coincided with the 67th anniversary of NAS Whidbey Island on Sept. 21 and the 11th anniversary of the PBY Memorial Foundation, located on the Seaplane Base, Sept. 22.
