Posted 5/4/2006(Nov. 01, 2004) - The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) returns to San Diego, Calif., from a five month deployment to the Northern and Western Pacific Ocean. The San Diego-based aircraft carrier, commanded by Capt. David Buss, is the center of the carrier strike group and is the flagship for Commander, Carrier Strike Group Seven (CSG-7), Rear Adm. Patrick Walsh.
