Military Photo: Swallowing 14,000 lbs.

NORFOLK (April 7, 2013) Sailors from Navy Expeditionary Logistics Support Group (NAVELSG) load a 14,000 pound Kalmar (Rough Terrain Container Handler) along with 1,400 pounds of shoring, on a U.S. Air Force C-5 as part of Load Exercise 2013 at Naval Station Norfolk. The training showed that NAVELSG could load a Kalmar on an aircraft to transport in the event of a Joint Task Force-Port Opening scenario.
