ATLANTIC OCEAN (Aug. 27, 2008) A landing craft air cushion assigned to Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 4 unloads equipment onto the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). Iwo Jima, the flagship for the Iwo Jima Expeditionary Strike Group, is on a scheduled deployment en route to the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility supporting maritime security operations.
