U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (May 13, 2018) A Marine Corps CH-53E Super Stallion assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 162, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit and a Navy MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter with Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 28 fly by the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). The squadrons conducted the aerial blue-green integration training in an effort to enhance their capability to provide mixed section assault support, rotary wing escort, or close air support.
