The coastal patrol ship USS Tempest (PC 2) transits from Khalifa Bin Salman Port to Mina Salman Pier. The arrival of Tempest, USS Thunderbolt (PC 12) and USS Squall (PC 7) brings the total number to eight coastal patrol ships to support maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
