Korea and Israel set for satellite, space cooperation

South Korea is expected to sign a memorandum of understanding with Israel to cooperate in satellite and space technology this year, the Korea Herakd reported.
Ambassador to Korea Uzi Manor made the suggestion when he met with South Korean Science and Technology Minister Park Ho-koon last month, the newspaper reported.
"There is a high possibility that an MOU will be signed at a meeting of science ministers between the two nations to be held in November in Seoul," Lee Ok-gyu, an official from the Korea Aerospace Research Institute, told the Korean paper.
Bilteral cooperation in the satellite industry has been under way between the two nations. Elop Electro-Optics Industries Ltd. and AeroAstro Inc. are developing high-capacity cameras to be loaded on Korea's KOMSAT-II satellite, which is set to be launched in Russia next year
swhitebull - despite the pernicious efforts of the leftwing pseudoIntelligentsia to delegitimize Israel, it seems that Israel is breaking out of the Arab-engineered isolation of the last 5 years. Might also have something to do with a few more bomobings of kids on buses, and that the real powers of the world are finally fed up with the Palis and their supporters (see the EU and Hamas post) GO Koreans!!
