Subject: China wants peaceful solution to Iran
YelliChink    4/1/2010 12:36:26 PM
According to CNN and Susan Rice: http://edition.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/asiapcf/04/01/us.china.iran.sanctions/?hpt=T2 [quote] U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice said Wednesday that China agreed to negotiate possible sanctions against Iran. "China has agreed to sit down and begin serious negotiations in New York with other permanent members of the U.N. Security Council," Rice said. [unquote] One thing we can be sure is that Susan Rice is a total incompetent for the job she has now. According to commie news agency: news.xinhuanet.com/english2010/china/2010-04/01/c_13234149.htm [quote] "China expresses its serious concern about the Iranian nuclear issue situation and is in close contact with relevant parties and is striving for a proper settlement of the issue through diplomatic means," said Qin. Qin also said China maintains that the international nuclear non-proliferation regime be safeguarded and in the meantime regional peace and stability should be taken into account. Qin said Jalili will meet with Chinese State Councilor Dai Bingguo and Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi during his visit. [unquote] Just in case you don't know, Jalili is top Iranian nuke negotiator. China was in Copenhagen earlier, and we know too well how that played out. Just becasue Hu is going to talk on the issue, it doesn't mean that they will agree on anything set by Western powers to them. In the mean time, they are in a good position to open re-negotiation with Iran on oil. The reports from leftist media in the West are simply wishful thinking.
