Who do you thinks better.I personally think the sas are far better. They can do a lot more insertion techniques.ops and have a boat troop which can basically do the same as the sbs.

okay, i'll heed bravoss' advice on this one..
right, first off kid (i'm assuming you are a kid/teenager) this is not the place for threads like that. you are comparing apples and oranges as the saying goes. nor do people on this site like threads like this that keep popping up, why? because they lead nowhere. there is no plausible way that someone can elevate one unit over another through facts and figures.
as for SAS vs. SBS, they have different mission sets. SAS's boat troop has more of a focus on infil/exfil methods utilising waterborne craft whereas SBS are primarily maritime operators. don't think that the SAS's boat troop and the SBS do the same thing because they don't, while they may do similar things and train together on ocassion, they have different roles in the grand scheme of things. SAS do not have a lot more insertion techniques, they have the same, however it is possible that one unit is better suited to some methods than the other and vice-versa.

I don't think 49 Para can even begin to compare with the 321st Dipsey Dumpster Division (Airmobile).  Think about it.  49 Para is clearly limited by the amount of garbage (rubbish for you Brits) that can be carried in rucksacks (bergens to you Brits) and cargo pockets.  So their capabilities are CLEARLY less than the 321st Dipsey Dumpster.

Ah, but given how many men in pubs claim to have been in 49 Para, I think that they win on sheer numbers.

that is why i am truely afraid to enter a pub these days, they are really too tough for me.

actually its a law in england now that every pub must have at least one regular who is either "ex-SAS/SBS" or "ex-49 para"

Well, yes, I'm not saying that 49 Para hasn't removed more rubbish than 321st Dipsey Dumpster over the life of the units.  That would be a given, since 49 Para dates back to WWII and 321st Dipsey Dumpster is a relatively new unit.

But I think you will have to agree that, when evaluating unit capabilities, that the 321st Dipsey Dumpster can remove more rubbish in one operation than 49 Para could ever hope to.

Of course, 49 Para might have the edge on 321st Dipsey Dumpter when it comes to spreading rubbish.

SAS Vs SBS.

Righto, one is an airline (Scandinavian) and the other is a national tv broadcaster here in Oz.

Now to the comparisons... SAS has foreign speaking and attractive flight attendants. SBS has some attractive foreign speaking news readers.

Nah bugger it, that's all that counts really.

Now where did I put my glass of wine.........

Carry on chaps.
