post # 100 10/4/2005 5:57:11 AM >>Uncork the champagne bottles!<< Anything but Carlsberg...I heard something 'bout the water! No wonder Thomas only drinks "small beers"...Course, if you've got a bottle of Aalborg Akkavit on ice...schnapps, Skoal, and Cheers on your 100th Danske landsmen! Let's Roll

Haven't been to work for a couple af days - a nerve in a tooth got banged up and infected: Consequence: I'm on Metronidazol - side effect like disulphram (antabus). Get back to you when retooled. That is what you give to man that has everything: A lot of antibiotics. On Watch: 1. Carlsberg brewery started because the water quality in Copenhagen stunk - litteraly!! so they moved the brewery out of town, where there was lots of fine water. There might be a misunderstanding on your part here: The beer tap is the one with the long handle, the pre-beer is the shiny one you turn! 2. "A smal beer" is a Copenhagen thing: You sit with your pint watching the heavily intoxicated Swedes move around in the traffic like pin-balls: Your Swede butting heads with a bus doubles your points!

>>what you give to man that has everything: A lot of antibiotics.--T3< Yes that's a fact. Once a year I go to my Doctor and tell him I'm preparing for an ocean passage and require a store of antibiotics. He breaks out his stash from the drug salesmen and issues me a free sampler. If it's a particularly rough year, I sometimes have to dig into the dogs supply(they get the good stuff, like clavamox). Hope you're feeling better after your course of anti-biotics. About that Danish Brewery, was it Tuborg then, down hill from the graveyard (stiffs pee)? Maybe before your time? Twas an old Torm Lines Captain that told be the tale -- but I thought he said it was Carlsberg? Thanks for the visual nomenclature on the Taps nonetheless...Yes yes, I know what a "wee one" (sm beer) is, I had a 90 year old granny who enjoyed a 'wee half' whenever the 'sun was over the yardarm'... Btw, I like that swedish watching game, we only get the occasional snooty tourist over here, on whose toes I usually try to step. Let's Roll
