Subject: THE AIRBORNE

There is currently one division and an additional (Airborne in name only) Air Assault Division. With the world being a Global battle ground of asymetric warfare and potential "resource wars" is there a need for two Airborne Divisons since all IBCT's are air assault capable ???

By the way, an ABCT can drop in on any spot on the global map less than 24-hours after going "Wheels-Up."  Russian Motor Rifle Divisions aint what they used to be.  I still know the entire Soviet Order of Battle in my head, and MRD's are now only a shadow of their  former organization.  You dont know how we fight.  If you did, you would'nt make non-relevant assertions about mileage and logistics.

Kazakhstan only has a 47,000 man Ground Force to cover a vast country it could not defend alone against the Russian Central Operational Strategic Command.
