| well it seems that the chinese have passed us as the largest exporter to the USA by a paltry few billion this year.
in the interest of correcting this situation all in favour of burning down all walmarts say "aye". ;)
more seriously though it seems our trade surplus with the world is on the verge of turning into a deficit. worse the upcoming election goodies coupled with the high dollars effects on the economy may well put paid to the gov't surpluses we've been so happy about these recent years.
how will we fare as just another G7 country once we lose our bragging rights over the rest of the hoi polloi. |
