| The LCS mentioned here is not the new Littoral Combat Ship, but the old WW2 Landing Craft Support ships. I tried to find some info about those ships, but couldn't find how these ships were used during amphibious assault. If you know how those ships are supposedly to function, please contribute your knowledge! |
