There aren't any manportable duo use missiles...however there is a vehicle duo purpose system currently used by Canada after having been developed in the United States for use by the Army. Its called the ADATS (air defense anti tank system).

Just a small correction to silentstrike post, the ADDAT's system was designed by Oerlikon Aerospace of Switzerland, with martin marietta of the US being the prime sub contractor for the US Army forward area air defense project but was scraped due to buget cut backs. It is now being used in Canada mounted on a M-113 ,thailand mounted on a shelter with a few other Countries interested but no orders yet. this system is one of the best in the world and has fell through the cracks, During exercise roving sands this system was one of a few that engaged F-117 A/C, Cruise mis,F-14,the best the US and allied had, and scored constant kills, it's only limitation is it's short range of 11 km "this is always being upgraded. during exercises in Canada it engaged and killed 1 ground target" T-72 and 1 drone in only 9 seconds by a first time shooter. Why it is not more widely used is beyond me, what is even more confusing is why canada does not purchase more.

ADATS uses 2 different missiles one for air defense and one for anti-tank.

No it's all done with one missile, at least with the Canadian version, the missile has a 150 lb explosive warhead that penatrates the aircraft vice exploding near the aircraft. another reason it's so deadly. these missile are being improved yearly but according to the A/D boys there is only one.

Fly boys do not like their own grunts having devices that can kill them. They want the total air defence mission for themselves. Another "Dirty Little Secret"
