"This type of ejection seat contains sensors and a microprocessor that adjust the thrust of the rockets that propel the election seat (and the pilot) from the aircraft, taking into the speed and direction of the aircraft." should read " This type of ejection seat contains sensors and a microprocessor that adjust the thrust of the rockets that propel the ejection seat (and the pilot) from the aircraft, taking into consideration the speed and direction of the aircraft."

Not "direction"... rather "orientation" of the aircraft. Pilots don't like being ejected upside down.

Probably, 99 percent of the time, the pilot does not have control of the aircraft. That is why they are ejecting?? Duh.

Hmmm. Since about half of the time, when going down, the pilot does control how the falling plane
falls, I'll ignore that statement and attribute it to your ignorance of how damaged planes malfunction.
