Hey guys,
A little late for the 509 but I arrived in Vicenza in March 1988.  Assigned to 3/325th ABCT,  A co. 2nd plt, weapons squad.  Stayed until Jan 1991.  Best memories I have is with that unit and still trying to make it back for a visit.  Had some folks still around from the 509th and let me tell you, those were big boots to fill but we tried our best to honor the reputation that was left and carry on the traditions.  You guys rock and if you happen across any threads from the old 3/325th folks please pass along the info.  Septembers bar is one I try not to explain to the kids now days :)  those memories are for me.
Oh, doing pre-jump on the North 40 on Mondays after buring on the beach drinking all weekend are memories that are not so plesant.  Sun burns are no fun on about the fourth point of contact!

My name is Fred Snyder and Sfc delph was my platoon sgt while I was in the 09. See if he remembers getting Tim Scott and me out of jail at the M.P station on post.He basically came down and said my 2 guys shouldnt be here for fighting a bunch of legs and since we won we should be let go Cause we were the type of soldiers he wanted.Yourdad was always cool to me  so tell him thanks!
