Does anyone else see a huge issue with this as much as I do? Just wondering b/c now the Rusky's put a flag there to claim it... Is Putin trying to anger the world; whos gonna be the first to stand up against it?

Apparently it's Canada that will stand up to it

This is a big issue but no one is trying to anger anyone. Russia just wants to secure those resour ces.

This formally needs to be rejected. If anything it trounces the entire concept of international waters, recognized borders, and exclusive economic zones.

It is just land trigonometry with the N Pole as the farthest nexus point on the Arctic Sea from Russian landmass. What is going to be difficult is that the magnetic N Pole varies a hundred kilometers or more over a 33+/- year cycle. All the countries in the region will get involved in the ocean floor land grab for oil & mineral rights, It is just that the Russians are building a Navy to defend their land grab.

I wish them their usual luck at sea.

The Russian are a joke, they lost the space race, the cold war, they are a shadow of there former self, and now that they
got some money, they are trying to show every body that they are big and bad, no body cares russia is not going to go to
war with canada, denmark, america or any body over this or anything else like this, russia and america are always going to
talk trash to eaach other its just old pride.
