I say give the Muslim world an ultimatum; drop your terrorist and extremist ways and let the civilized world live how they want to, and we won't kick your asses. They say we oppress them, but we have done no such thing. They oppress themselves by hating us and not letting us help them. They are just jealous because we live such good lives and we have so much power and wealth, and we got all this in just over 200 years and they have been moving at a snails pace for 2000 years. They want to take all we have earned through violence, and take the easy way out instead of reforming their wartorn nations and earning their prosperity. It is all so obvious, but all you morons so blindly believe the crap that the arabs spew at you and just assume that America is bad just because the Arabs suck so much and blame it on us. Hmm, makes sense, so stop preaching for them you idiots.

why dont you ask yourself why Canada was not attacked? or say Mexico or Germany? The US has being supporting the Arab's Enemy, Israel, for decades by supplying it with weapons, political support and such. It is a normal reaction from the Arabs. Americans have to decide whether Israel is another American state or not. This forum posts is a proof that there is a deep hatred against Muslims in the US. They make ben-laden and his gang right about the fact the US don't like the Muslims (even before sep 11). All this is due to religious influence in the US. The more atheist Europe has no problem with the Arab world while religious fanatics in Washington still talk about promised land, bible stories and all those fantasies.

You people make me sick, If that happens the west will be no better than what Germany did in WW2! The people that plant dirty bombs ect. are the MINORITY of the Arab world. Should we British just deport the Irish too because of the IRA? Should we deport the Blacks of the western world because some "niggers" and "pimps" cause more deaths in the western world than arabs? Are you NUTS? I happen to know some Arabs. What are they going to deport them too? I have d friend who is half Arab, Should we label him a terrorist and send him away even though he has done nothing wrong and only because he looks arab? I know a muslim Neurosurgeon, he is a very important person, why don't we deport him too eh? just for the heck of it. What happens to human rights? Inocent until proven guilty? Are we going to be hippocrits and do things we were supposed to stand against? This a racist thread, I am suprised Sysops hasn't deleted it yet. If This were the thred to deport Catholics I'm sure it would be deleted...

Bigotry doesn't belong here. This is a board for discussion of issues, not to sling hatred around. If you want to do that, there are plenty of other sites to post on. Kindly do everyone a favor and go post there. You'll probably find a lot of "like-minded" people there. Osama bin Laden and Wahabiism thrive by teaching other Muslims that all other religions want to crush Islam and take over Muslim lands. This is sheer poppy, but it resonates well with the poor, the uneducated and Muslims who feel inferior to the West. Contrary to what some of the posters here think, the bin Laden types are a minority of Muslims. And remember, there are a lot more Muslims than there are Arabs. Iranians, Afghans, Pakistanis, Thais, Malays and Chinese Arabs exist too. Unfortunately, the bin Laden message plays in the poorer, more backward countries, where hatred is principally driven by envy. Most of those folks don't give a whit about Israel or the Palestinians. This is just an excuse bin Laden and his followers use to legitimize their cause. Right now I am working in Afghanistan, helping to put their Army back on its feet. These are mostly good people here, many of whom did not want the Taliban, and recently voted because they do not want them to come back. The best way to fight bin Laden, and Wahabiism is to prove them wrong. You do this by showing you are honest and forthright, by helping to rebuild or improve impoverished countries without running around converting people or pretending to better than them.

We immediately got an intercept from NSA [National Security Agency], a total smoking gun from the foreign ministry of Iran, ordering the murder of our Marines. Nothing was done to retaliate. Instead, we did exactly what the terrorists wanted us to do, which was to withdraw. Osama bin Laden has cited this as one of his dawning moments. The vaunted United States is a paper tiger; Americans are afraid of casualties; they run like cowards when attacked; and they don't even bother to take their dead with them. This was a seminal moment for Osama.. After that, our CIA station chief kidnapped and tortured to death. Nothing was done. Then, we had our Marine Colonel [William R.] Higgins kidnapped and publicly hanged. Nothing was done. We fueled and made these people aware of the tremendous effectiveness of terrorism as a tool of jihad. It worked. They chased us out of one place after another, because we would not retaliate. The Secretary of Defense at the time has said he never received those intercepts. We have allowed the intelligence community to evolve into a bureaucratic archipelago of baronies in the Defense Department, the CIA, and 95 other different intelligence units in our government. None of them talked to one another in the same computerized system. There was no systemic sharing. Some will recall the Phoenix memo and the fact that there were people in the FBI saying, "Hey, there are young Arabs learning to fly and they don't want to learn how to take off or land. Maybe we should look into them." It went nowhere. We had watch lists with 65,000 terrorists' names on them, created by a very sophisticated system in the State Department called Tip-Off. That existed before 9/11, but nobody in the FAA Federal Aviation Administration] bothered to look at it. The FAA had 12 names on its no-fly list. The State Department had a guy on its list named Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. He was already under indictment for his role in planning the 1993 attack on the World Trade Center. The State Department issued him a visa. I could go on and on but why bother, things will not change. WHERE IS THE PUBLIC OUTRAGE IN THIS? WHAT IS BEING DONE, WHAT HAS CHANGED? DIDN?T BUSH STATE PUBLICLY THAT THE GLOVES ARE OFF AND PUT A $25 MILLION DOLLARS REWARD ON THE HEAD OF OBL AND OTHERS? SURELY WE ARE NOT SEEING THAT? NOT ENOUGH IS BEING DONE AND WHAT IS DONE DOES NOT ADDRESS THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM.
