Subject: Last days of NATO? A new European alliance in the works?
Le Zookeeper    8/29/2009 12:56:48 AM
The economic debacle that has plagued the word an particularly US/UK has pitched Germany and Russia in a strong Euro allince. COntracy to popular think the fall of Soviet Union did not end the communist cliques KGB etc. It ended the word "communism"; its not fashionable. Reality is in UKraine President is pro US, PM is pro Moscow, Poland Czech and other new NATO members are significantly run by ex commies and KGB or secret service members. SO they can easily wreck havoc in NATO. AFter all for this new European ALliance has old roots, the original contention was with UK s empire and German plan for a European Union. The popaganda will change, but a major economic crisis in US/UK will initiate this Euro alliance. Russia still has ICBMs to ensure US/UK cannot hinder it. THe KGB smells a whiff of hope, old habits die hard.

Define old roots... Most strong European families can trace back their roots for hundreds of years, well before Karl Marx was jotting his thoughts down with ink and paper...
What you speak of is fiction from a mind who can't see history before 1945...

Most of the ruling powers of Europe can trace their history back to when russia was a agriculural backwater...

conceptualized EU, and yes Russia has new significance today due to several obvious factors. But I still believe that a German driven EU is next as the EURO collapses and the PIGS retreat. Europe is the greatest challenge to the Anglo Saxon world (so to speak) and as US & UK wither away Germany is the only logical point where the leadership exists to end the US/UK world order (most folks think its China- I simply can't undersand why). Out of practicality Germany is allying with Russia, but this is primarily resurgence of Germany.
