Subject: Chinese Bull-Pup (Type 95) Assault Rifle

Has anyone else noticed the similarities between this weapon (see SP Military Photos) and the British SA80? Is it also 5.56 mm? Have they experienced similar problems - 32 modifications since acceptance? Exemplo Ducemus

No. Beyond it being a bullpup, it looks pretty different.

I believe they have a variant chambered for 5.56x45mm (Type 97) that is offered for export (or will be), but the Chinese military version is chambered for their proprietary 5.8x42mm round.
