| The reason why public opinion of the UN is so poor, is because the UN is constanty failing in it's role as peace keepers. And the reason for this is because they are not aggressive enough. I can understand the concerns of starting new colonys, but we have to make risks if we want these wars and conflicts stomped out for good. If they're not going to do the job properly, than why even bother. And if they are worried that keeping their troops in places will end up starting a new colony, then why not just send the government of these countys money to deal with their own problems.
All i'm saying is that the UN has to either be more agressive with their troops, or not bother in the first place. the UN's task is to stop world violence, not pretend to. So why don't they get off their asses and send all the probelms of the world, some of their fnest men. Then we'll see how far rebels get. |
