The only thing that leaves a sour taste in my mouth is the money we've given to foreign intelligence services for their cooperation in the war on terrorism. Particularly those undemocratic governments where their intelligence services are essentially an apparatus of a police state. I don't know a better solution, but this feels like paying the Saudis to pay Al Qaeda not to attack us.
