Subject: Has Anyone Heard Of This Thru The National MSM?

Investigation into APS cheating finds unethical behavior across every level "Across Atlanta Public Schools, staff worked feverishly in secret to transform testing failures into successes. Teachers and principals erased and corrected mistakes on students’ answer sheets. Area superintendents silenced whistle-blowers and rewarded subordinates who met academic goals by any means possible. Superintendent Beverly Hall and her top aides ignored, buried, destroyed or altered complaints about misconduct, claimed ignorance of wrongdoing and accused naysayers of failing to believe in poor children’s ability to learn. For years — as long as a decade — this was how the Atlanta school district produced gains on state curriculum tests. The scores soared so dramatically they brought national acclaim to Hall and the district, according to an investigative report released Tuesday by Gov. Nathan Deal."

The combined effect of NCLB and public school teacher's union. Funny that it is exactly what an episode of King of the Hill was about several years ago. So was another episode of South Park.

The teachers in those public schools know that they have no means to improve students' performance. It's not that they can make the students do better in tests. The sad reality is that most students there don't even care had teachers given them answer sheets from known test question list. As a result of Cultural Marxism and its effect on degradation of civilization, underprivileged innercity school children had done worse in stadardized tests 30 years ago.

To change that, you have to change culture first, and you have to get rid of all the crap from MSM from youth culture. Then you might have a chance to convince underpriviledged innercity school children that their role models should be MLK, GWC, Thomas Sowell and not just stupid ignorants playing in commercial sports.

The bad thing is even with this I bet it will be hard to fire them. I have seen the school for my nieces give them a 100% on bringing  back a report card signed by their mom. Have seen them give 100% for returning a signed anything. I have no faith in our school systems across the country anymore. I have seen to many that leave with a paper in their hands that say they have completed school and not be able to make change for a dollar. I hate to say it but i think we are at the point to where we need ONE standard all students are taught to. And no student leaves a grade until they master what they need to. I have seen to many pushed through. But we also need to make parents more responsible for their kids education. If a student is not doing his or her homework I want the parents in that classroom the next day and every day after until they are. To many blame teachers for what is parents failings.

Los Angeles Follows Maywood Into Anarchy

Maywood, California has fallen to the Reconquista, having a 96% Hispanic population, largely consisting of illegal aliens. Consequently, it disbanded the police department’s traffic division, lest it inconvenience illegal aliens who characteristically drive without licenses, often blind drunk. Then it took the next step by disbanding the police department altogether. Los Angeles has also fallen to the Reconquista, having elected as mayor Antonio Villaraigosa of the radical anti-American outfit MEChA. With that background, this should come as no surprise:

Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck announced Monday that his officers will no longer automatically tow the cars of illegal immigrant drivers stopped at sobriety checkpoints.

The policy comes in response to the concerns of Latino civil rights activists, who say impound fees are unfairly costing otherwise hardworking illegal immigrant drivers hundreds of dollars.

Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck said his department impounds about 1,000 cars a year from illegal immigrants at sobriety checkpoints — not because they’re drunk but because they don’t have driver’s licenses.

However, they often are drunk, as anyone who dares go out on the road in an area infested with illegals can attest.

“As we reviewed our impound policies it became obvious to me that they had disparate impact on individuals based on something that was entirely out of their control,” Beck said.

If breaking the law by being in our country illegally is “entirely out of their control,” and breaking the law by driving without a license is also “entirely out of their control,” then what crime would they be capable of refraining from committing? When will the privileged special interest groups favored by our liberal rulers ever be expected to take responsibility for their behavior?

The answer: never, so long as they are serving a useful purpose, as illegal aliens do by turning the Southwest welfare-dependent and blue.

Under the new policy, officers will give unlicensed illegal immigrants “reasonable time” to find someone else to drive their cars home.

Where they will surely never take them out on the road again. Liberalism has reduced Los Angeles to anarchy.

I love how hard they fight against rules for having to show ID to vote. They shouldn't impound them they should take them and sell them as how can someone not here legal own a car. And if they aren't the ones that own that car then we should fine the ones that do for helping someone commit a crime. It is up to the owner to make sure that the person borrowing their car is legal to drive it. For the life of me I can't understand how come we can't build a wall on the border. I mean China built a nice wall long ago to keep people out and yet somehow we can't. How is it that if we even talk about building a wall that is racist. We are building it on our side of the border but somehow that is racist? So by that logic if I live next to someone that isn't white I am a racist if I have a fence. They want new taxes to cut the debt then why not tax all monies sent out of the country. A nice 10% flat tax should help the government as they are broke. Spending is what grows our economy so every dollar sent overseas is helping to grow some other economy. I hate to say it but I think the only way we will ever do what we need too to protect our borders is only after we get hit hard and they trace it back to someone crossing it. And that is a shame really. One last thing how come the test for driver license is in spanish anyway. How many road signs are in spanish?

My understanding is that the problem is not the standardized test, the problem is that they fail to pass it. The problem is that teacher cheat to avoid the penality...corruption in other word.

Creazy it is indeed, but where do you see liberalism in this? Are you referering to the laxism of the liberals to control emigration? or the disbanding of the police department?

I do think that many times teachers get the blame for student that show up not ready to learn. To many parents these days expect the teacher to teach there kid when in fact learning has always been a partnership between parents and teachers. I think in many cases both sides of that partnership have failed. But we can't blame the parents so that leaves the teachers as scapegoats. The only real problem I have with teachers is their union, takes a act of congress to get rid of bad ones. In many cases we let kids stay in school that shouldn't for fear of "labeling them" that they can't learn. I know you don't want to say that a child just can't be taught for a number or reasons, but we also have let so many others fail because that one causes problems We also now for kids have no other school path but for college so those that don't want to go to college they haven't really any training for them. But we also have made our economy to where there almost isn't any jobs that pay well that don't require college. But we could teach kids to be plumbers, electricians or for that matter any training that requires someone to use there hands. I think we need a test first day of each class with what they want you to know by the end of the  year give the same test at year end to make sure that they have learned what you want them to. Would also give you a concrete measure of how well the teacher has done teaching. But it would also give you a way to measure the kids case by case, if a child doesn't get it year after year then you know most likely they have problems. I have seen to many kids pushed through that lack even basic skills.
