I had all manner of vulgar examples of things I would rather do that see that movie, but decided decorum should have me spare you.

Let's just say I'll never see this movie, nor particularly respect anyone who does see it and like it.

I seems he went a little overboard, but some items on Goldman Sachs and I think they mentiond some Senators by name were spot on. Clearly the United States is an Oligarchy where the connected get bailed out and then the masses get a little trickle and then inflated out of their savings. Clearly the average joe has no power or control left. Capitalism has failed to deliver in US not because capitalism is wrong (its a natural system, u screw up u lose in, America u screw up u get bailed out if u r connected, and the idiots can continue to run the show), but because the AMerican system went wrong since a meritocracy was destroyed. The title shouldbe "Well what went wrong in America??" I think it will take 10 to 20 years for the country to recover if by then China already hasn't spread its wings (I highly doubt it we will ever return to the party we had during Clinton era, and of course 2005 to 2007-but that party was financed by China). Most people do not accept it - we blew it by living on debt. Did u know if Japan and China do not buy the bonds 15% 20% inflation is INSTANTLY guaranteed. Luckily they did (to a lot of people surprise) recently. Clearly our soverignity has been compromised.

Somebody wake me when this fat little **** donates all the proceeds he has earned through the capitalistic system he seems to loathe to charity or the lowly masses he claims to support.

When Fatass gives up his apartment on Central Park West and quits referring to the very Americans who keep him in bacon as "the dumbest people on the planet," then I might start listening to him.

I say "might."

Japan and china skip 1 debt auction and it game over ,pal. What will the democrats do if russia decides to roll over georgia and shut off gas to europe?..We were in debt but at least negotiating from a position of strength. Now we are quadruple the debt, we're apologetic and slashing defense. AQ is conducting operations across America...and you're still gunning for wealthy americans

You voted for stimulus, herc. so you now sound utterly hypocritical and just plain dense when you whine about past debt accumulation. You have become the greatest portion of that problem.

Moore's  biggest fault in this movie is blaming "capitalism" when no one on Wall St. practices or has ever practiced capitalism.  If they did, there would be millions of unemployed bankers/MBAs/consultants in NYC, Chicago and DC.

God, Nanhe, every now and then you come through with a gem that makes me all the more pissed off when you revert to form the rest of the time.  Well said.

But Nan, whether what was being practiced by Wall Street was technically pure capitalism or not, there is something wrong with what is being practiced. Maybe Moore should have picked a better title but the premise is still that the way business was/is being done is flawed.

Nan is right. The people he was mentioning don't like capitalism. They like socialism, which they pay off bureaucrats and get insider information to rob us suckers. This is the highest form of thievery that George Soros and his friends practice all the time.
