| Today, Cdn. troops, working on intel, teamed up with Afghan army/police and took on the Taliban about 30 km west of Kandahar City, in a small village called Panjwai. Two Cdn. soldiers were seriously wounded, operated on and I believe are heading to Germany for further treatment. The Cdn. called in RAF Harriers and extensively used artillery on the Taliban forces. Some reports made have indicated that 400+ Taliban are now operating in the area as they are none too happy that the Cdn. are stomping around in their backyard.
