Are you French Canadian? If yes, it would explain a lot! ;)

Ehran is a typical and good Canadian, the question is too personal and stereotyping. BTW, I don't have any problem with French Canadians.

"the question is too personal and stereotyping." I am just messing with him. We have been sparring over the years at Strategypage.

wash your mouth out lizard king. i am mostly scots ancestry far back as i have gone that is. been in canada for at least 4 generations that i know of. my great grandfather came out to manitoba back in 1880's with his 9 brothers and settled there. they came from ontario and that's as far back as i know of but i think he was born there rather than being an immigrant.

That's funny, I thought you were Jewish actually. This is not mutually exclusive with the ancestry you describe but it seems highly improbable, so I guess I was wrong.

lol, What you forget is that the Quebecois look down on the rest of Canada in a typical French sneering manner, so the rest of us naturally aren’t crazy about them .

OK, here's what I don't understand, from the ID cards thread: "i do however miss my yankee choco milk fix." What? No brown cows in Canada? :-P Seriously, is chocolate a no-no up north? (surely it's not a controlled substance...?) Is there a specific US brand you favor over the local mix? (Myself, lately I'm partial to the banana and Very Vanilla bottles that Nesquik markets now, although the vanilla isn't always easy to come by.) Ehran, if you're that hard up/desparate for a choco fix, I'll send you a few boxes straight from Hershey, PA (3 hours away). ;-)

it's a local dairy in washington state that makes the best chocolate milk i've ever had. hard to describe why it's better but it was worth hopping across the line for a gallon once in a while. i don't get over that way very often at all any more and the lineups at the border are bloody ridiculous much of the time so i've pretty much given up that little luxury these days. as for american chocolate bars i'll stick to the canadian version pretty much. i actually send care packages to a friend's wife in seattle periodically as she greatly prefers cadbury bars to the homegrown stuff. i'm actually losing my sweet tooth as i get older which is a good thing though it does remove a bit of joy from life. i bought a pound of chocolate and after 10 days i still haven't finished it off. i'd love to be able to chalk it up to self discipline but honesty prevents such a claim.
