There are few missile systems as widely deployed as old Hawk. Does it have any combat record. I did not manage to find any relevant information.

The only combat record that I can recall of a "Halk Kill" is in 1982, when Israel managed to shoot down a Syrian MIG-25 during the first Lebanon war.

This however was only accomplished after Israel twicked with its hardware and soft software to specialize this missile for this mission.

Syrians were also dumb enough to keep to the same flight plan schedule, so Israel knew where and when it could make this kill.

Thanks. That is rather impressive for such an old system. Mig 25 is fast and flies high.
