Subject: Rememberance??? I think we already forgot
Outcast    9/11/2002 4:42:15 PM
One Minute of Silence By Adriana Domingues If you are still in shock from viewing the images of last years’ attack on the twin towers of New York City, then please take this one-minute of silence to pay respect to those 10,000 dead Americans and international people, most of them were innocent civilian, cowardly killed by the terrorist!!! Now that you have stood silently, please be quiet for another 13 minutes to pay homage to the 130,000 Iraqis who were killed in 1991 by the order of Old George Bush. Please take this moment to remind yourself that in this occasion the Americans were publicly celebrating. Please emit another 20 minutes for the 200,000 dead Iranians killed by the guns and arms furnished by Saddam Hussein (They were still new weapons at that time) supplied by the Americans who eventually had turned those arms against Saddam himself. Another 15 minutes for the Russians (30,000) and 150,000 Afghanis died by fighting the Taliban, also with the arms and funds furnished by the Americans. Another ten minutes of silence should be allocated for the 100,000 dead Japanese in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, also killed by the Americans. You have stood in silence for an hour now (one minute for the Americans and 59 minutes for the victims by the Americans) if you are still perplexed, stay on for another hour for the dead in the Vietnam War, where most Americans would rather not remember. Let us also talk about the thousands of dead from Aids in Africa, where US and their pharmaceutical companies wanted to defend their patents of the medicine that had made the cost of the cure not viable? What about the thousands of Palestinians who have been massacred by the Israelis forces, again funded by the US both financially and militarily? Thus " Terrorism at the home of others remains to be refreshing". Well, (even with all the warning indices - American - showing otherwise), the Americans now had started to understand that they themselves are just as vulnerable, and the many tragedies provoked by Americans were just as barbaric and coward as those caused by other terrorists. No one, none of us here are defending what had happened in NY, on the contrary, it was barbaric, but most unfortunately, few people are innocent of any barbarism. The dead of other people are as "painful" as much as the Americans. We think it is very important for us all to reflect over this prism, and not on all that had happened. Shown below, are extracted from CNN or from the front page of our magazine "veja" (A Brazilian weekly magazine)with the list of the countries victimized by the US right after the WW2: China 1945-46 Korea 1950-53 China 1950-53 Guatemala 1954 Indonesia 1958 Cuba 1959-60 Guatemala 1960 Congo 1964 Peru 1965 Laos 1964-73 Vietnam 1961-73 Cambodia 1969-70 Guatemala 1967-69 Grenada 1983 Libya 1986 El Salvador 1980 Nicaragua 1980 Panama 1989 Iraq 1991-99 Sudan 1998 Afghanistan 1998 Yugoslavia 1999 And why don't we try to remember of all the right wing revolutions in Latin America that were also financed by the US whom were trained by the CIA. Does anyone remember the 31st of March in 1964? "If we adopt the politics of an eye for an eye, soon we will all be blind “-Ghandi.

"No one, none of us here are defending what had happened in NY, on the contrary, it was barbaric, but most unfortunately, few people are innocent of any barbarism." Yes, you ARE defending the terrorists actions by saying that those 3000 innocent people somehow deserved to die because of supposed wrong doings by the US. You Outcast, and the writer of this article you plagiarized, are sympathetic to the terrorists but dont want to be obvious about it. Well, it's obvious to me, so it don't work chum. And I wont even get into the incorrect numbers this writer has posted, what a bunch of rubbish... NewGuy

"Hiroshima=Terrorism" Bzzzz! Thank you for playing. Actually, what "Hiroshima" means is something like a million Americans who didn't die storming the Home Islands of Japan, and many millions of Japanese, mostly civilians, who didn't die in that storming. Do you really no nothing, at all, of the Pacific War?
