Information on the precise rebuilding or fresh building of the infrastructure in this Country. Have heard very little in the NYTimes and would like to know what is happening and how to help.

'Human Rights Watch has sharply criticised the United States and other foreign power-brokers in Afghanistan for failing to stem right abuses in the country..." Anyone who expects the US (or ANY nation) to significantly alter the cultural legacy of Afghanistan (which has been generated over several hundred years) in less than 2 years is either looking for a cheap scapegoat, or simply does not know what is involved in changing national cultural behavior on such a massive scale. I vote HRW guilty of both. NewGuy

What Afghan "cultural legacy" has to do with the content of Human Right watch's report? The report of Human Right Watch cretecizes the US for its suport to the Warlords - those who are accused of crimes against innocent Afghans - since 1992 !
