well sub saharan africa is a mess. north africa is living like a typical arab dictatorship. Sudan is in the midst of an extermination campaign of its non-muslim citizens. south africa is worse off for both black and white than it was under apartheid. he has some points but colonialism is an outdated system, it dosen't mesh well with capitalism since colonies are an expensive upkeep. I say let the multinational corporations make them civilized.

I can tell from your comments that your intelligence level and whole thought process is very narrow. Well offcourse africa accepts they need to take some responsibilty..but history cannot be ignored..your fore fathers stole all the resources minerals and plus enslaved human beings to help build the west. They didn't give a hoot for the welfare of their subjects did they? I fail to see how European strip mining of natural resources from areas like the Congo are the fault of the Africans. Same goes for slavery. Who do you think the slave catchers were taking? Old people and invalids? Heck no! They were after the ones whom Africa would have benefited the most from---strong young men and women! There were few people left behind who had the strength and ability to help advance Africa.
