| I was sent to Somalia the week this happen. I saw the damage and hunger and pain of the people there. The film does justice for a Hollywood film but it does not show the true horror of being there and not being able to fight...in the five months plus I was there the rules of engagement never changed. We still got shot at. But soon the man we hated and wanted to capture became our ally. I watch him drive in front of me and I could have kill him with my Mark19. But politics and pain and suffer and another country's problem is all I seem to take from there. |
