| As a former Marine and Foreign Service Officer serving in Sierra Leone both in a training and diplomatic capacity, and having witnessed first-hand the carnage of that countries Civil War, iam very happy to see it end. I have studied Sierra Leone's history and politics since college, however, and based on my experience, i doubt that this war will be over for another generation. |
